No Words, Yet Not Enough Paper: My Experience at the Dr. Joe Dispenza Retreat
There are no words—and yet, not enough paper in the world—to fully describe what I experienced at the Dr. Joe Dispenza retreat. Never in my life have I felt so loved, so supported, and so deeply seen by a group of people—especially a group this size. There were nearly 2,000 of us, from all walks of life, gathered together with one shared intention: healing, transformation, and awakening.
One morning at 4 a.m., we came together for a meditation. When it ended, I turned to a new friend beside me and said, “Wow, that was a longer one—what would you say, about two hours?” She nodded, “Had to be something like that.” Then Dr. Joe’s voice came in: “It’s 9 a.m., we will now break for breakfast.” Time had dissolved. We had been in meditation for five hours, but it felt timeless—like being held in the womb of the universe.
It was like we became one body—breathing, healing, expanding together. And in that unity, I felt safe enough to completely dissolve the armor I didn’t even realize I was still wearing.
The retreat wasn’t just about learning new techniques or meditations—it was a homecoming. It was meeting myself again in the mirror of every heart around me. I met a woman who had been to 11 retreats. ELEVEN. That alone speaks volumes about the depth, the resonance, and the transformation this work brings.
Hearing testimonials from others cracked my heart wide open. A man spoke of healing his Parkinson’s disease. A woman shared that she had been given less than a year to live with a rare form of bile duct cancer—and she is now completely in remission. Stories like these were not anomalies. They were confirmations. Love heals. Gratitude heals. Presence heals.
And what struck me even deeper was that all of this isn’t just spiritual or anecdotal—it’s being studied. Reinforced by science. Dr. Joe’s research team is running ongoing tests at the retreats: examining how breast milk becomes more nutrient-rich and immune-boosting, how immune markers shift, how coherence in the heart and brain can be measured and replicated. The sheer amount of trials being conducted is a testament to how real, how grounded, and how powerful this work is.
This retreat deepened my understanding of how energy connects—how Reiki, breathwork, and meditation all tap into the same intelligent field. I witnessed, over and over, how the body remembers wholeness when given the right environment. How much more is available to us in the void—in that sacred, still space where time ceases and healing begins.
There’s still no way to fully capture this with words. But I know this: something in me changed. Or maybe, something in me returned.
And for that, I am endlessly grateful💚
